 painted one coat then sanded...

adding some tacks for folded metal effect

Ivy Ln

The most adorable shop!! loved everything about Ivy Lane!! Jennifer was engaging enthusiastic and incredibly  helpful!! If you are ever in Newburyport Ma. Ivy Ln. is a must!Jennifers style is Vintage with a flair! I am so excited to try out CeCe Caldwells paint! not sure which one I will use first Seattle mist,Pittsburgh gray,or Santa Fe Turquoise.....

An Old Window takes on a new view

Old Window from a Boston salvage yard stripped down to the wood

with a base coat of Annie Sloan chalk paint Chateau Grey

 and a wash of miss mustard seed Shutter Gray mixed with Deco art silver sage metallic

a coat of clear wax and then dark wax

love the Vintage sash lock!

next the mirror glass will be installed!

some clear and dark wax

 First coat of Annie Sloan French Linen...

 Second coat............will add some Gilding wax and distress before I wax! can't wait for final result!!

 I am thinking Chateau grey or Old Ochre for this piece!!
