Delightful Little Table

A small  table! I Painted it with American Paint Co. Navajo White
This White is actually a clean crisp white! not an off white that most associate when hearing the name Navajo White! A perfect White for this Grain Sack inspired look!
To get nice straight even stripes I used Frog Tape!

  measuring and taping off!

The Stripes are painted in American Paint Co.  Blue Jean! The perfect shade of Blue Painted on using a stencil brush giving the stripes a slight texture adding to the Grain Sack look!

Here is the table with both sides "up"

And sides down, I continued the stripe in the crevice of the fold....gives it a more finished look
The table is a Great compliment to this chair slip covered in a Beautiful Amy Butler Linen!
A Delightful Little piece!

Miss Mustard Seed" Trophy"

This Charming old  Desk has been sitting in the Studio for Months! It has amazing detail, I love how whoever built it used the trim on the top between the drawers! These little details needed some paint to make them PoP!
So I have been dying to try Miss Mustard Seed's new Gray called "Trophy"!I love how easy Milk Paint is to use! For starters a clear cup helps see that you have mixed your Paint with out a lot of clumps!
And remembering to add the powder to the water and not the opposite helps eliminate clumps on the bottom!
A few "Pounces" with the mixer and we are good to go!

This piece did not appear to have any "finish" on it  previous to being painted so I did not add bonding agent.  The Milk Paint will be able to soak right in and work it's magic!

Loving this color!

I didn't overwork the Paint in the details because I wanted them to show up more instead of blending in!

then I did some minimal distressing using a sanding block, mostly in the raised areas!
So it would appear to have happened naturally over the years!
Then To seal this piece I used a blend of clear and aging wax to deepen the color!

And Buffed to a Beautiful Sheen!!

I love how this desk now has more character and charm than it did when it was just plain wood! you can really appreciate all the little details that really pop with the Paint!

Love Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint!

American Paint Co. Home Plate.....a Home Run!!

American Paint Co. Home Plate! So thick and easy to apply!

The all natural mineral base paint makes my job a lot easier! Home plate is a rich white with a lot of depth to it!

These products are truly amazing!

Take this dated side table a mix of composite wood and laminate
After a good cleaning using American Paint cleaner! I was able to just dip my brush and paint these dated tables!
The amazing adhesion these paints have make it possible to transform your old outdated furniture into new gorgeous updated pieces!

These Tables were sealed with American Paint Co. Top coat.  I used a cloth to rub it on to giving these tables a rich finish with a durable layer of protection!
Done in time to get to get to their new owners for the Holidays!
I had four of these Gorgeous rush seat Hitchcock Chairs! the Quality and workmanship was outstanding! they were just tired and dated! So after a good cleaning using American Paint cleaner and taping off the seats I was ready to go! Home Plate again a truly rich white! The rush seats were a bit dry so I gave them a good soaking with Miss Mustard Seed's Hemp Oil
Also finished in time to celebrate Christmas in their new Home!Updated and Gorgeous!
All of these done with a little more than half a quart! I will be able to tackle a few more projects using Home Plate! A little goes a long way!
Next on the list... is a desk using Voyage From the Ellis Collection a New series of colors from American Paint Co.!!

A Beautiful Beachy Blue/Green! Can't wait!
